Should Rangers let Mackie leave Loftus Road?
Jamie Mackie has been touted as a possible makeweight in a deal with Blackburn for Junior Hoilett, while a number of other clubs have also shown an interest in the QPR forward.

Great attitude, model pro, I for one would not want to see MacKie go. He wears his heart on his sleeve gives us something different with his full commitment and loyalty with a never say die attitude.Good Luck Jamie.
PS, Defo need another centre half

I think its just wishful thinking from Blackburn Rangers would be mad to let him leave. Why would you sell one of your best players when you don,t need to.What I cant understand is why you would wast money on Green and Nelson instead of using it to try to get Samba back to England he is a top centre back and thats what we need more than any thing else, and is Green any better than Kenny?

Keep Mackie. He was great last season-my vote for player of the year, mainly due to his passion and work rate. Players like Adel could learn a thing or two from him

Mackie reminds me of Waddock in his hey day. Haring around the pitch chasing lost causes and turning them into goal scoring opportunities. His tracking back and chasing 60 yds for the team when he has lost possession is also a fantastic aspect of his game. Not sure if he the same since the Ewood debacle but a hoop through and through. I agree that another 12 months with MH will see him develop further. Simon Barker was never the same after his leg-break either………….but that all said………..
Mackie must stay and fight for his place. He is one of us.

Mackie is important to the soul of QPR, the changes we now are witnessing are necessary and I am impressed by and grateful to Tony for putting money on the table, but we need some continuity and Mackie is just that, keep him!

Absolute rubbish story. He has just signed a long term contract with the club and is clearly QPR through and through. If he ever did leave then it wouldn’t be for a championship club it would be PL. He may not be the most stylish player in the world but I would have him in my team every day of the week, he is a proper pro!

I agree with RoyBoy we don’t need anymore players. We should though get rid of the players that did not play at all last season. SWP is a good player and should stay in the sqaud.

Absolutely not – and Hoilett is totally unnecessary
WE DON’T NEED ANY MORE PLAYERS!!

No way. We have to reward loyalty and commitment, which he shows in abundance, instead of bombing him out for a “bigger name”
get rid of that waste of space SWP if you want to get rid a right midfielder! honestly one of the worst footballers i have seen in my 15 years as a qpr supporter, he can’t event control the ball properly! at least tony scully wasnt on 70 grand a week.

I would be gutted to see Mackie go, regardless of the recent signings Mackie is a very important part of QPR’s future and it would be a mistake to let him go, for me he was one of our best players last season.

No way should j mak leave has an unbelievable work rate and passion for the club something a lot of players don’t seem to have these days.proved last year when he got a run in the side that he could hassle defenders into mistakes and score goals particularly the last day against city . I think another season with Hughes and he will become a top premier player. Either way a great servant of the club and I wish him well

Absolutely not, with the age of the squad increasing with the recent good signings,it is important to keep our younger players, particularly ones like Mackie, who plays with a fire in his below for the QPR cause. He shows no desire to leave and is better than a championship player.
Mackie to stay!!!!
