They’re having a laarf if they think they can pick Mackie up for 1mil.
7 goals in 20 appearances from right wing in the premiership and they think they can pick up runner up for player of the year for £1mil.
Never laughed so hard when I saw this.

Jamie is one of those 100% players that need week-in, week-out and we should never consider seeling him, we would be mad to let him go, especially for a silly amount of money, plus he’s only 26, no money is adequete for such a player.

Jamie Mackie is one of the most industrious players we have had at Rangers for years. You know thet he will give 100% every time he plays and is capable of turning a game round, as he did when we were 2-0 down at Blackburn with 20 minutes left when he came on as sub and scored twice. Silly of Rangers to even think about selling him but a very good acquisition for a club trying to consolidate and survive that first season in the Premier League.

Even if Jamie should (for whatever reason) make only about 20 League appearances in the upcoming season, this will be equivalent to double that from any “regular” player. The lad is committed and has blue+white running through his veins, that’s plain for all to see every time he sets foot on the pitch. He’s a big-hearted lad who – as our management and board have commented – would run through walls for Rangers. This is such a non-story. Jamie’s going nowhere, thankfully.
