Greens star moves to Staines Town

Elliott Godfrey has left Hendon to sign for Blue Square South side Staines Town.

The Canadian midfielder, 29, joined Hendon from Boreham Wood a year ago and played 47 times for the Wembley-based club, scoring five goals.

After starting his career at Watford, Godfrey spent four years with Hampton & Richmond Borough, where he made over 100 appearances before joining AFC Wimbledon in 2008.
