Surgeon happy with QPR man’s recovery
Alejandro Faurlin’s surgeon has told the QPR midfielder he remains on course to make an excellent recovery from his injury.
Spaniard Dr Ramon Cugat, a world-renowned specialist in helping sportspeople overcome knee problems, believes Faurlin is progressing well as he enters the final stages of his rehabilitation.
The Argentine missed the second half of last season after suffering cruciate damage during an FA Cup clash at MK Dons in January.
Faurlin told West London Sport: “I went to Spain so he could have a look at the knee. He was happy. The knee has recovered well, so now it’s about building up the muscle around it.
“For me it was good to see him and hear that everything is still going well. I’m really excited about playing again.”

Excellent news, top player and has all the attributes for me to get better and better. Also, I’d add he has a great attitude, one a few of his team mates could learn a lot from.
