He’s been a little anonymous over the past few years for whatever reason and I suspect some of was partly due to his off field antics.. Ridiculous hair transplant/syrup and some gaudy pink sports car are two incidents that spring to mind….
Anyway, if he could stay fit and get a decent run in the team then he’s got to be a step up from Derry and Barton… Crikey bearing in mind we had to tolerate Marcus Bean Bob Boulder in relatively recent seasons so someone of the calibre of Stephen Ireland should be dismissed out of sight…. U R’s
Ps…. Any chance that we’ll make a serious bid for Chris Samba and or a goal poacher… I’d love to see us go and get Gary Hooper as well as the potential for being a headline makers dream I genuinely believe he’d score plenty in the Premmo…..

Not Ireland…..nothing impressive in last two seasons…….hopefully we get rid of Barton this summer don`t need another weirdo.
