QPR formally complete signing of Diakite

QPR have formally completed the signing of Samba Diakite from Nancy.

The Mali midfielder joined on an initial loan deal in January ahead of a permanent move if Mark Hughes’ side stayed in the Premier League.

Rangers have paid around £3.25m for Diakite, who has signed a four-year contract at Loftus Road.

He made nine appearances for the R’s last season, scoring the winner in their vital home victory against Arsenal in March.
