Cisse out to deny Man City Nasri star title glory

QPR striker Djibril Cisse will aim to deny his friend Samir Nasri a title winners’ medal when Rangers take on Manchester City on Sunday.

The France team-mates have been close pals for a number of years but Cisse says their friendship will be firmly put to one side at the Etihad Stadium.

“I will be sad for Samir if he isn’t a champion, but it is very important to me that QPR stay up,” said Cisse.

“Hopefully we will stay up and they will still win the title. That would be perfect. But my focus is on QPR.”
