Which West London Club Should You Bet On This Year?

London is one of the biggest cities in the world when it comes to football and West London is no exception to this rule, if anything, this area is one of the best for football in the UK or even the world. There are four major teams in West London with three being in the Premier League and one in the Championship.

Overall, West London is a great place to be for football and even better for football betting. Some weeks we put on accas for all of the West London teams to win and the Premier League odds for Brentford and Fulham are usually good value because they are weaker teams.

Brentford

Speaking of, Brentford have had a strange start to the Premier League season with them having a mix of starting strong but also fairly weak. The one thing we can say about Brentford is they get results when they play teams who are similar to them. This weekend they drew to West Ham (despite scoring early in the game) and have beaten Southampton and Crystal Palace.

Coming against big teams this season has been challenging for Brentford and in playing Spurs, Liverpool and Man City they have lost all three. Luckily for Brentford, not many people are expecting them to get a result from these games. Looking at the overall question, Brentford is a good team to bet on as they will never be complete favourites for a game but can always put up a fight.

Fulham

Despite losing their best player in Joao Paulinha, Fulham have started this Premier League season very strong and have been getting good results, since their loss on the opening day. Since this game, they have not lost a game and have had impressive results against Newcastle and Nottingham Forest.

Fulham are similar to Brentford in the way that they are underdogs a lot of the time when they play. This run of form they are in may slightly switch the odds to further in their favour but they are worth a punt as they continue this form.

QPR

In contrast to Fulham and Brentford, QPR are a team I would avoid throughout this year. They have been struggling in the Championship for a few years and their form this season has not been great with four draws, two losses and one win. The wins being the smallest number should worry bettors and QPR fans alike. There is a positive you can take for these games and that is the lack of losses. They know how to get a draw and keep this result intact and if they can push to get more winners they could do really well.

Overall, we would avoid betting on the R’s as they are completely unpredictable.

Chelsea

Now onto the best team on this list and that is Chelsea. They have been great in the league this season and have finally got a tactical identity that is working for them and their massive amount of players.

One thing that is important to note about Chelsea this season is their Big 6 record. This good run of form has spawned from the First game of the season where they lost two nil at home to Manchester City. Now, we know how good Manchester City are, but Chelsea playing another Big 6 team is the real test of their ability.

On October 20th, Chelsea go to Anfield to play Liverpool and if they beat them or get a result, then we could see Chelsea get into the top four this season. Either way, I still think they are in the top four race and despite their form, they still have good odds going into the smaller games. We always have them in our accas and think you should join us.
