Jimenez’s penalty gives Fulham victory
Raul Jimenez made it three goals in three Premier League games as Fulham secured a first league away win of the season.
Jimenez made no mistake from the penalty spot after Andreas Pereira was trodden on. Referee Josh Smith checked the screen and the spot-kick was given.
The best action in a turgid first half was when Forest striker Chris Wood squeezed a shot over the line, but it was ruled out for offside.
After the deadlock was broken, Callum Hudson-Odoi came closest to equalising for the hosts, but his shot curled over the bar.
Fulham defended brilliantly, and earned a first clean sheet of the season. Forest suffered defeat in the league for the first time this season.
