Andersen could return for QPR at Luton

Lucas Andersen could return for QPR’s Championship game against Luton on Friday evening.

The Dane suffered an adductor injury while taking a corner during the recent 2-2 draw at Sheffield United.

Andersen subsequently missed Saturday’s draw with Plymouth and Tuesday’s Carabao Cup tie against Luton.

But Rangers hope he will resume full training ahead of the league meeting with the Hatters and be included in the squad.

“He’s showing very good progress,” said head coach Marti Cifuentes.

“Hopefully he will train with the team and then see how he feels. I think the next couple of days will give us an answer on exactly where he is.

“If everything goes according to plan he might be able to help us.”

The R’s will again be without Ilias Chair and Morgan Fox.
