Brentford boss Thomas Frank says forward Bryan Mbeumo is “getting closer” to a return after three months on the sidelines.

Mbeumo trained with the first-team squad this week for the first time since suffering an ankle injury in the 2-1 loss at Brighton in December.

Frank confirmed Saturday evening’s game against Arsenal will come too soon for Cameroon international, but he could be involved against Manchester United at the end of the month.
