Ream likely to be out until after Christmas
Fulham skipper Tim Ream is set to be out of action until after Christmas after suffering a calf injury.
The 36-year-old missed the 5-0 mauling of West Ham and faces a spell on the sidelines.
“Tim felt something in his calf after the Forest game,” boss Marco Silva explained.
“Let’s see how long it takes but it is probably too early to see him before Christmas.”
Adama Traore also remains sidelined as he continues his recovery from a hamstring injury, but centre-back Issa Diop has recovered from a foot injury and is expected to be in the squad for Saturday’s trip to Newcastle.
“It is a process but the last two weeks he has trained with the team,” Silva said.
“I think it is too early to start, but step by step he is going in the right direction.
“We will keep assessing him but he is making good progress.”
