QPR keeper Mahoney set for loan move

QPR goalkeeper Murphy Mahoney is expected to join Walsall on loan on Wednesday.

Injuries to Rangers’ other keepers meant Mahoney made two first-team appearances last season.

The 21-year-old is now set to spend the rest of the season with the Saddlers, who are 11th in League Two.

Meanwhile, Stefan Johansen has returned to action after injury, featuring in a behind-closed doors game against Brentford’s B team.
