Chelsea agree deal to sign Mudryk

Chelsea have pipped Arsenal to the signing of Shakhtar Donetsk winger Mykhailo Mudryk.

The Gunners were looking to buy Ukraine international Mudryk, 22, but Chelsea have agreed an £85m deal to bring him to west London.


He is set to sign a seven-and-a-half-year contract and will be the latest arrival at Stamford Bridge, following the recent signings of Benoit Badiashile, David Fofana and Andrey Santos, while Joao Felix joined on loan.

Chelsea have won just one of their past five matches and are 10th in the Premier League table ahead of Sunday’s London derby against Crystal Palace.
