Bircham a contender for Swindon job
Marc Bircham is a contender for the Swindon Town manager’s job.
The League Two club are looking for a replacement for Scott Lindsey, who has left to take over at Crawley Town.
Bircham is currently first-team coach at Como. An approach for the Wembley-born 44-year-old has been made to the Italian second-tier club.
He served QPR as a player, coach and assistant manager and since leaving Loftus Road has managed Irish side Waterford and has a spell as technical director of the Bahamas national team.
Swindon are eighth in League Two and only outside the play-offs on goal difference.
