Problems for QPR ahead of derby clash

QPR midfielder Samba Diakite could miss the west London derby against Chelsea.

The Mali international has been laid low by a virus and is a major doubt for the game at Stamford Bridge, where Rangers could also be without Djibril Cisse.

Striker Cisse is nursing a knee problem and faces a fitness test ahead of Sunday’s clash.

Cisse’s absence would be a major blow for Mark Hughes’ side given that Adel Taarabt is suspended following his recent sending-off against Tottenham and Heidar Helguson is also unavailable.
