Chelsea are said to be keen on Barcelona youngster Gavi.

The Sun have picked up on Spanish publication El Nacional claiming that Chelsea are looking to sign the 17-year-old midfielder.


Gavi is under contract until 2023 and his representatives have been negotiating a new deal for him – hence the speculation over his future.

He reportedly has a £42m release clause in his current contract and it is claimed that Chelsea are looking to make a move for him.

Ziyech loan unlikely, Telegraph say

The Daily Telegraph believe Chelsea are unlikely to loan out Hakim Ziyech in January.

It follows recent speculation over the Moroccan’s future and reports the likes of Borussia Dortmund are interested in him.

The Telegraph say Chelsea are yet to discuss Ziyech’s future but that a loan move when the transfer window reopens is unlikely.

German newspaper Bild have reported that Dortmund are keen on Ziyech – and that he would be keen to make the move.

Barca linked with Azpilicueta

Barcelona have again been linked with Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta.

Reports have suggested that Barca’s financial issues mean they are targeting free transfers.

And with Azpilicueta approaching the end of his contract and yet to agree a new deal, there has been speculation that he could end up at the Nou Camp.

ESPN suggest Azpilicueta could be among players targeted by Barca.

The defender has indicated that he expects to sign a new deal at Chelsea.
