Rangers confirm appointment of Rigg

QPR have confirmed the appointment of Mike Rigg as technical director.

The 43-year-old has left a similar role at Manchester City, where he worked with R’s manager Mark Hughes.

He also worked with Hughes at Blackburn, where he was chief scout.

Rigg previously had spells as the Welsh FA’s technical director and Sheffield Wednesday’s academy manager.

His main tasks will include player recruitment and developing future talent.
