‘Question marks’ over fitness of QPR players – Warburton
Mark Warburton says there are “question marks” over the fitness of a number of QPR players for Saturday’s game against Coventry.
Lee Wallace is out with a hamstring problem and Jordy de Wijs, who picked up an ankle injury against Barnsley, will need to be assessed.
Several players, including Stefan Johansen, Lyndon Dykes, Dominic Ball and Albert Adomah, have been affected by illness.
Manager Warburton says he might therefore have to wait until the day of the game to decide his line-up.
“I’ll see how the boys report this morning – 24 hours can make a huge difference.” Warburton explained.
“We’ve had some illness and a couple of injuries, but hopefully the days (off) have helped. But as it stands right now there are question marks against three or four of them.
“I’ll have a clearer picture later this morning – and it may well be that we have to go to tomorrow morning to see where we are.”
Meanwhile, unwanted QPR defender Todd Kane is close to joining Coventry.
And Rangers are hoping to complete a deal to sign striker Andre Gray on loan from Watford.

I got the feeling Andy Gray is ‘Milking the Cow’ at Coventry, sitting there and not being selected, just collecting his wages and worst of all happy doing nothing for the club.
We don’t want that type of guy around, his wages demands will disrupt other players.
I liked the sound of the three other Strikers from lower divisions who are hungry, fast, young and willing and are not looking to screw the club.
