Transfer gossip: Fulham chasing Armstrong, Sun say
Some of the recent transfer speculation involving Fulham…
Fulham are looking to sign Blackburn Rovers forward Adam Armstrong, according to The Sun.
Armstrong, who is said to be valued at £25m, has impressed in the Championship and is expected to attract interest from Premier League clubs.
The Sun claim Fulham and West Ham are leading a race to sign him despite the Whites being relegated.
Everton and Brighton are also reported to be interested in Armstrong.
Clubs linked with Lemina
West Ham and Newcastle are interested in signing Mario Lemina, according to the Guardian.
Lemina is on a season-long loan from Southampton at Fulham, who have an option to buy the midfielder.
But with the Whites facing relegation from the Premier League, there is speculation over his future – and the Guardian suggest there is interest from top-flight clubs.
Whites linked with Dykes
QPR striker Lyndon Dykes is attracting interest from other clubs, including Fulham, it is claimed.
The Scotland international has struggled for much of his first season in west London but is in excellent form, having scored six goals in as many matches.
And Teamtalk claim there will be “a battle to hang on to” Dykes and that Fulham, Burnley and West Brom are “ready to test QPR’s resolve” after watching his progress.
Andersen speculation
There has also been speculation over the future of Fulham’s on-loan defender Joachim Andersen.
Chelsea are among clubs to have been linked with the Dane, who has impressed while on loan from Lyon this season.
The Mirror have claimed that Arsenal and West Ham are keen on Andersen ahead of the summer transfer window.
The newspaper suggested Arsenal see him as a potential replacement for their former Chelsea defender David Luiz.
Reports in Andersen’s native Denmark have suggested that he has told Lyon he wants to stay in the Premier League rather than return to France.
The Telegraph recently reported that Lyon want £25m for Andersen and that Tottenam and Manchester United have added him to their lists of potential signings this summer.
The Mail ran a similar story, claiming Andersen has been identified by Spurs as a possible replacement for Davinson Sanchez or Toby Alderweireld amid speculation over their futures at the north London club.
The Mail later claimed that Chelsea, Leicester and Crystal Palace are also interested in him.
