QPR’s good run of form continued with a hard-fought 2-1 win over Bournemouth at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium. Here’s how we rated the Rangers players.

Seny Dieng: 8

Made a great one-on-one save to deny Shane Long in the first half and another smart fingertip stop to deflect a Philip Billing effort in the first half. Caught everything and dominated his box as has become the norm for him this season.



Todd Kane: 7

Scored the winner with a smart finish after latching onto an Albert Adomah cross that whizzed across the box. Crossing was a bit hit and miss going forward but as ever he continues to push on whenever possible and got his rewards late in the game.

Rob Dickie: 8

Continues to impress on the right side of the back three, and delivered a Rolls Royce of a performance as he brought the ball out of defence and up the field several times in a manner not seen by a QPR centre-back since the days Glenn Roeder. Defended well when he had to.

Geoff Cameron: 7

The skipper was steady at the back and used the ball well when he needed to. Did lose his man for Bournemouth’s goal when Shane Long ghosted in to score from close range, but that aside he played well.

Yoann Barbet: 7

Was asked some searching questions at times by Billing but stood up well to the test overall, perhaps should have been the man to challenge Sam Surridge for the header that set up Bournemouth’s equaliser instead of Niko Hamalainen. Hit the bar with a header.

Lee Wallace: 7

Another solid display from the experienced Scot, who once again got forward well and defended solidly. Was taken off on the hour with Mark Warburton obviously keen to keep his experienced heads fresh ahead of a busy week.

Dominic Ball: 7

Another decent display. Grew into the game in the second half, winning some crucial tackles and some eye-catching forward runs with the ball as Rangers closed out the win.

Stefan Johansen: 7

An industrious midfield performance from the Norwegian. Scored the first goal by reacting swiftly to a mistake by Chris Mepham and calmly beating Asmir Begovic from close range before being immediately taken off in a triple substitution.

Ilias Chair: 6

Never really got going, with two shots from the edge of the box charged down by the Cherries defence. Delivered a fantastic free-kick that found the head of Barbet before being substituted.

Lyndon Dykes: 6

Worked hard like he always does and was a physical presence up front, but was feeding off scraps as Rangers struggled to create much in the way of chances. Still looks like he is struggling with confidence.

Charlie Austin: 6

Received little service in and around the box and didn’t make anywhere near the same impression as he did against Brentford in midweek. Withdrawn on the hour for Chris Willock.

Chris Willock: 7

Another impactful display from the bench from the former Arsenal man. Constantly troubled Bournemouth with his pace in the final half hour and created a great cross that Macauley Bonne somehow put wide from a yard out.

Macauley Bonne: 5

Should have scored a hat-trick when he came on. Produced one of the misses of the season when he casually tried to put the ball into an empty net from a yard and shot against the post. Had other good chances when put clear but was denied by Begovic.

Sam Field: 6

Not as dramatic as his introduction against Brentford but Field did a decent job and added some fresh legs in the midfield when he replaced Johansen and played his part in closing out the win.

Niko Hamalainen: 6

Should have been stronger when challenging Surridge and was easily out-jumped for the header that teed up Long’s goal. But deserves some credit for some important challenges as Bournemouth pushed for a second goal.

Albert Adomah: 7

Set up the winner with a brilliant run and cross after being brought on for the final 15 minutes.
