Chelsea youngster Guehi withdraws from England Under-21 squad

Marc Guehi has withdrawn from the England Under-21 squad because of a minor injury.

The defender, who is on loan from Chelsea at Swansea, was expected to feature in an Under-21 European Championship against Albania on Tuesday.


But he has been pulled out of the squad as a precautionary measure.

Chelsea’s Callum Hudson-Odoi and Conor Gallagher remain part of the squad, as does Brentford’s Josh Dasilva.

Norwich’s Max Aaarons, from Hammersmith, and Brighton’s former Chelsea youngster Tariq Lamptey, from Hillingdon, are also part of the squad.
