QPR assessing Osayi-Samuel ahead of Blackburn game

Bright Osayi-Samuel is a doubt for QPR’s trip to face Blackburn.

Rangers were this morning assessing a groin injury the winger picked up during Wednesday’s win at Derby.


“He’s reporting this morning,” said manager Mark Warburton.

“The second day (after suffering an injury) is the worst day for many players in terms of strains, soreness and fatigue. You’ve just got to see how they are.

“Today will be a very light training session and then we travel to Blackburn this afternoon.”

Lee Wallace is fit again following a recent injury.

“He’s all good and he’s in the squad. It’s great to have him available,” Warburton confirmed.
