Derby v QPR player ratings

Ebere Eze’s penalty just before half-time earned QPR a deserved point against Derby. Here’s how we rated each Rangers player in the 1-1 draw at Pride Park.

Joe Lumley: 6

Solid enough and a big improvement on a terrible display against Nottingham Forest in midweek.

Angel Rangel: 7

Made a big difference on his return to the side. A calming presence at right-back and tucked in to cover his central defenders when necessary.

Grant Hall: 7

Had a very decent game at the heart of the defence. Read the play well and always looked to build from the back.

Toni Leistner: 7

Determined, imposing and not afraid to bring the ball out from defence when the chances arose.

Ryan Manning: 7

Redeployed at left-back after a spell as a wing-back. Played well and had an effort saved.

Geoff Cameron: 7

Performed an important role protecting the Rangers back four.

Luke Amos: 7

Very good in the first half and seems to be getting into his stride after his injury problems. Did fade somewhat before being taken off.

Bright Osayi-Samuel: 7

Always a threat, especially in the first half, and won the penalty which led to Eze equalising from the spot. Praised by boss Mark Warburton after the game and rightly so.

Marc Pugh: 7

Handed a rare start and justified his inclusion with a clever, hardworking performance behind Jordan Hugill.

Ebere Eze: 7

Took his penalty well and always bothered Derby’s defence. Great to watch when in full flow.

Jordan Hugill: 7

Had a shot saved but otherwise had very little joy in terms of scoring opportunities. But he performed a crucial role up front, where he worked hard and held the ball up well.

Josh Scowen: 6

Shored things up in midfield after coming on. Nahki Wells, on for the final 11 minutes, also helped Rangers see the game out and get the point they deserved.
