Transfer gossip: Spanish newspaper AS claim Chelsea want Eriksen
Some of the transfer stories involving Chelsea in Thursday’s newspapers…
Chelsea are among clubs interested in Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen, it is claimed.
The Dane, whose contract expires next year, has been linked with a potential move to Real Madrid – often by Spanish newspaper AS.
Now AS claim that Real face competition from Chelsea and Manchester City but remain favourites to sign Eriksen.
AS continually link a host of players with clubs in Spain and elsewhere.
Palace star also linked
Chelsea want to sign Crystal Palace right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka this summer, the Daily Mirror say.
The Mirror have linked Manchester City with the 21-year-old and now say Chelsea and Manchester United are also keen on him.
Villa want Colkett – Mirror
The Mirror also say Chelsea youngster Charlie Colkett is wanted by Aston Villa and Swedish club Ostersunds.
The midfielder has been on loan with Shrewsbury this season and it is claimed that he could now move to the Championship or abroad.
Higuain deal agreed – Sky in Italy
Chelsea have agreed a deal to sign Gonzalo Higuain on loan with a view to a permanent move, Sky in Italy have been reporting.
Blues boss Maurizio Sarri is keen to bring in the striker, who played under him at Napoli and is currently on a season-long loan at AC Milan from Juventus.
Chelsea ‘want to sell Batshuayi to Everton’
Chelsea want to sell Michy Batshuayi to Everton for £40m and are close to a deal for Alvaro Morata to join Atletico Madrid, the Daily Telegraph reports.
Batshuayi is said to be keen to move on loan to Monaco but Chelsea would rather sell the Belgian forward.

Fulham want Drinkwater loan deal – Mirror
Fulham are trying to push through a loan deal for Danny Drinkwater, the Mirror say.
The midfielder has failed to establish himself at Chelsea since being signed from Leicester, where he won the Premier League title under Claudio Ranieri.
Fulham boss Ranieri wants to bring in Gary Cahill from Chelsea and has also been linked with Blues duo Drinkwater and Victor Moses.
