Chelsea transfer gossip: Blues again linked with Higuain
The transfer speculation involving Chelsea in Friday’s newspapers…
Chelsea are again being linked with Gonzalo Higuain.
The Argentina striker was tipped to join Chelsea prior to a season-long loan move from Juventus to AC Milan during the summer.
Now it is claimed that Higuain, who played under Blues boss Maurizio Sarri at Napoli, has become frustrated at the San Siro.
Milan are struggling to stay within Financial Fair Play restrictions and the Daily Mirror claim the club could therefore be open to allowing him to join Chelsea, who would inherit the option to buy Milan have as part of their deal with Juventus.
Milan are among several clubs to have been linked with Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata.
Sarri is reportedly keen to offload Morata and bring in another forward next month.
Speculation over Batshuayi
There are more reports that Valencia could cut short Michy Batshuayi’s season-long loan.
The Sun claim striker Batshuayi could return to Chelsea in January after failing to impress in Spain.
There have been reports in France that Lyon boss Thierry Henry is keen to snap up the Belgium international.
