Terry set to miss Man City game

Chelsea captain John Terry is set to miss Wednesday’s game against Manchester City.

Terry recently returned from a knee problem but was substituted during last week’s Champions League victory over Napoli and did not play in Sunday’s FA Cup game against Leicester.

He has been ruled out of the trip to Eastlands but is expected to be fit for Saturday’s derby clash with Tottenham.

“It’s still a bit too early for John Terry,” interim boss Roberto Di Matteo confirmed.

“He did very well to come back in such a short time and we were lucky. He should be fine for the weekend.”
