Rudiger confident of quick recovery despite injury problem
Antonio Rudiger says he is confident he will soon be fit again despite withdrawing from the Germany squad.
The Chelsea defender is nursing a groin problem but insisted on Twitter that he believes he will quickly recover.
He will stay in London during the international break to work on his rehabilitation.
“I will do some individual training sessions during the int. break and I’m confident to be back soon,” he posted.
I won't be available for the @dfb_team for the upcoming 2 matches due to a groin problem. I will do some individual training sessions during the int. break and I'm confident to be back soon👊🏾 Best of luck to my German teammates for the next 2 games 🇩🇪🙏🏾 #Hustle #AlwaysBelieve
