QPR reject Blackburn’s offer for Freeman
QPR have rejected Blackburn Rovers’ offer for Luke Freeman.
West London Sport on Wednesday revealed that Rovers had offered £4m, having also recently revealed that Rangers had rejected an approach from Middlesbrough for the midfielder.
Sheffield United have indicated that they are interested in Freeman, but so far there has been no offer from the Yorkshire club or improved offer from Middlesbrough.
Freeman, signed from Bristol City for £350,000 18 months ago, has two years remaining on his contract at Loftus Road.
Rangers are open to selling him at the right price, despite co-chairman Tony Fernandes recently insisting on Twitter that Freeman is “not for sale.”
Freeman, 26, has made 65 appearances for QPR since arriving in west London and has scored seven goals, with five of them coming last season.
