Back problem forces Christensen to miss cup final

A back problem ruled Andreas Christensen out of today’s FA Cup final against Manchester United.

Chelsea defender Christensen is not fit enough to even take a place on the bench at Wembley, where Gary Cahill and Antonio Rudiger start at the back for the Blues. Youngster Trevoh Chalobah is among the substitutes.

As expected, Thibaut Courtois is in goal rather than Willy Caballero, while Olivier Giroud leads the attack, supported by Eden Hazard.

There is also a starting place for Tiemoue Bakayoko, so both Willian and Pedro have to settle for places on the bench,
