Chelsea v Norwich: Ampadu plays as fringe players get chance to impress

Ethan Ampadu, Michy Batshuayi and Kenedy are among the players given a chance to impress for Chelsea in tonight’s FA Cup third-round replay at Stamford Bridge, where kick-off has been delayed until 8pm.

There is a recall for David Luiz, while teenager Ampadu gets a chance to impress again for the Blues, who include Eden Hazard, Alvaro Morata and youngster Dujon Sterling among their substitutes.

Norwich, meanwhile, are without midfielder Tom Trybull, who has a knee injury.

On-loan Tottenham youngster Marcus Edwards joined the Canaries after the goalless draw with the Blues at Carrow Road so is ineligible to play.

The match was due to kick-off at 7.45pm but will start 15 minutes later because of problems with public transport, particularly the partial closure of the District Line.

Chelsea: Caballero; Azpilicueta, Luiz, Ampadu; Zappacosta, Bakayoko, Drinkwater, Kenedy; Willian, Batshuayi, Pedro.
Subs: Eduardo, Christensen, Sterling, Kante, Musonda, Hazard, Morata.

Norwich: Gunn, Pinto, Zimmermann, Hanley, Klose, Lewis, Reed, Vrancic, Maddison, Murphy, Oliveira
Subs: McGovern, Husband, Hoolahan, Stiepermann, Raggett, Tettey, Cantwell.
