Hampton youngster training with Derby

Hampton & Richmond Borough youngster Dylan Randall is training with Derby County ahead of a possible move to the Championship club.

Randall, 16, has also been invited for a trial by Ipswich Town and previously trained with Stevenage.

The player was watched by Derby chief scout Malcom Crosby after being recommended by staff at Hampton.

Randall, who turns 17 later this month, became Hampton’s youngest-ever player when he came on as a substitute in their FA Trophy win over Harlow Town in November.

He scored in the following round, netting an injury-time goal against Heybridge Swifts to earn the Beavers a replay.
