Chelsea v Newcastle line-ups: Cahill left out, Blues trio return, three Magpies changes

Gary Cahill has been left out of the Chelsea starting line-up for the game at Stamford Bridge, where Eden Hazard, Cesar Azpilicueta and the fit-again Victor Moses return to the side.

Azpilicueta, rested along with Hazard against Swansea in midweek, captains the team.

Antonio Rudiger stays in – and there is also a starting place for Danny Drinkwater.

As well as Cahill, Pedro, Willian and Davide Zappacosta drop to the bench, where they are joined by Michy Batshuayi, who is back in the squad after injury.

Newcastle, meanwhile, make three changes, with Javier Manquillo, Dwight Gayle and Mo Diame coming into their starting line-up.

The Magpies are without Jamaal Lascelles, Paul Dummett and former Chelsea man Christian Atsu.
