Hughes’ methods ‘a shock’
Despite their recent trip to Portugal, spirits in the QPR squad are not as high as they could be, according to the Daily Mail.
The paper suggests manager Mark Hughes’ methods have not gone down well with some players.
A source is quoted as saying: “Certain members of the squad thought the trip would be more of a team-bonding exercise. But it didn’t work out that way.
“Hughes’ methods have certainly been a bit of a culture shock to some of the players.”
Meanwhile, several of today’s papers include Andre Villas-Boas’ comment that things could get worse before they get better for Chelsea.
The Blues boss, whose side are without a win in five matches, said: “Things can further go down still, because of how tight it is in the league, and I need to prepare people for that.”
