Chelsea hierarchy backing Conte, Mirror say
Antonio Conte retains the support of the Chelsea hierarchy despite this week’s loss to Roma, the Daily Mirror say.
There was speculation over Conte’s future as Blues boss even before the 3-0 defeat in the Champions League.
But the Mirror say support for him within the club remains high and that there is sympathy for the difficulties he has faced, particularly injuries to the likes of Eden Hazard and N’Golo Kante this season.
The Mirror also say Chelsea will back Conte with more new signings in January, with a move for Juventus wing-back Alex Sandro said to be likely.
However, reports that Conte is unhappy with the club’s recruitment continue – The Times say he is worried that Chelsea are short of leaders in the dressing room as a result of the club’s recent transfer dealings.
Meanwhile, the Daily Telegraph say Chelsea’s medical staff with try to push Kante into returning to action in this weekend’s game against Manchester United.
Kante has been badly missed while sidelined with a hamstring problem, not least during the defeat by Roma.
And The Sun have picked up on recent reports in France linking Arsenal with a move for Chelsea youngster Charly Musonda.

for me bakoyoko is not support to play ball for Chelsea while we have fabregas Kante and drinkwater my advice here is that conte should not use bakoyoko against man United if he want us to win man United please Antonio conte helps us

Conte has to adapt quickly to a new formation since 3-4-3 is now mastered by many coaches and tacticians.

We Chelsea fans and de club worry so.much…we should just leave Conte alone …Zidane of real madrid won both champions league and laliga last season and we all can see Wat they ar facing..we are too impatients!
The clubs refused to back Conte with quality signings ..what do u expect? Hw can we as a renounce team be having just one Center defense? We all knw dat Conte is a good coach! Better soup na money kill ham…Let CONTE be pls!

the coach’s competence is beyond reproach, he just has been given nothing to work with. chelsea have only one adequate midfielder , (injured at the moment), bakayoko is turning into a disastrous liability, fab, (in on-and-off mode lately) is just a passer of pretty balls, drinkwater is filing a “homegrown” requirement quota, the appalling underappreciation and finally loss of matic to mou, (who managed to hurt chelsea yet again – lukaku, de breune, sallah) happened to be the last act of self-mutilation, so let’s brace ourselves for another shambolic mess of a perfomance on Sunday and a mediocre season.

I think conte should play kanta and drinkwater together in that midfield cahill, aloson, fab, bakayoko should be on bench against manu and please try to use 433 formination which are courtios gk. rudiger azpci, luzis, christee defenders. Zappacosta, drinkwater, kanta midfielder. Pedro, morata, hazard forwarders. Trust me these will out for us against manu

I see no reason why ANTONE CONTE still using BAKAYOKO the guy doesn’t play like a real player, he lack of tackling,control the ball,short of pass, i pray DANNY DRINK WATER AND N’GOLO KANTE get fit as soon as possible..Bakayoko should be bench…Thanks.

Chelsea should try pairing kante and drinkwater in midfield against manu and bench cahill, fab, alanso and bakayoko. And also change d pattern since it has to yield results
