Fernandes proud of QPR’s ‘incredibly positive start’
Tony Fernandes took to Twitter following QPR’s defeat at Middlesbrough and insisted they can be proud of their performance – and their start to the season.
Rangers were beaten 3-2 at the Riverside Stadium and have mounting injury problems, especially in defence.
Captain Nedum Onuoha faces three months on the sidelines with a torn hamstring, joining fellow defenders such as James Perch and Grant Hall on the injured list.
But co-chairman Fernandes urged fans to be patient.
This is an incredibly positive start. Long way to go. Let’s get some of our squad back fit. Well done boys
