Chelsea’s Houghton rejoins Doncaster in loan move

Chelsea midfielder Jordan Houghton has returned to Doncaster Rovers on loan.

The 21-year-old made 36 appearances for the Yorkshire club last season but returned to Stamford Bridge in February after suffering a knee injury.

His latest loan spell at the Keepmoat Stadium will run until 3 January.

Houghton, an England Under-20 international, has played in League One before, during a loan spell with Gillingham.
