Anelka: Drogba will move to China

Nicolas Anelka believes he will be joined at Shanghai Shenhua by Didier Drogba this summer.

Anelka recently left Chelsea to sign for the Chinese club and his former Blues team-mate Drogba has long been tipped to follow suit.

Drogba’s Stamford Bridge contract expires at the end of the season and the 33-year-old has rejected the offer of a new one-year deal.

And Shanghai-based newspaper Xinmin has quoted Anelka has saying: “Yes, I often contact him. If all goes well, he should be able to come to Shanghai.”
