Terry, who is leaving at the end of the season, is partnered at the back by David Luiz and Cesar Azpilicueta for the newly-crowned champions’ final home match of the campaign..
Gary Cahill is on the bench, as are Pedro and Nemanja Matic. Diego Costa is among those returning to the starting line-up.
There is no Jermain Defoe for relegated Sunderland, who are without 11 injured players and make a number of changes.
