Stoke City v Chelsea line-ups: Hazard and Terry out, Stoke man returns
Eden Hazard misses only his second league game of the season after injury ruled him out of Chelsea’s trip to Stoke.
The Belgian is replaced in the Blues’ starting line-up by Pedro, the only change to the side that beat Manchester United in Monday’s FA Cup quarter-final.
Victor Moses is in the side despite a calf problem sustained against United, while Nemanja Matic continues in midfield ahead of Cesc Fabregas.
John Terry is not included in the squad, with Nathan Ake named on the bench instead.
Stoke’s former Chelsea defender Glen Johnson is out with a shoulder problem but Marko Arnautovic returns to the side after missing out in midweek because of illness.
Xherdan Shaqiri, though, misses his seventh match in a row.
