QPR’s on-loan Brighton winger Kazenga LuaLua sidelined for a month

Kazenga LuaLua faces a month on the sidelines with an ankle injury.

QPR’s on-loan Brighton winger suffered the injury during a training-ground practice match .

“We’ve got a couple of knocks and injuries picked up through the level of training and the enthusiasm to do what I want to do,” said R’s boss Ian Holloway.

“LuaLua went over on his ankle yesterday and he’ll be out for three or four weeks.

“He crossed a great ball, someone scored, and when we looked over he had gone over on his ankle.”

LuaLua, 26, has made nine appearances for Rangers since arriving in January, seven of them as a substitute.

He scored his first goal for the club in Saturday’s 2-1 defeat at Preston.
