No talks over Terry, Howe insists
Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe has insisted no talks have been held with Chelsea or John Terry over a loan move for the Blues captain.
Howe is reportedly hoping to persuade Terry 36, to join the Cherries on loan for the rest of the season and was said to have arranged talks with the former England centre-back.
But Howe said: “No negotiations with Chelsea at all.
“I admire John Terry greatly as a footballer – he’s one of my favourite ever central defenders. But there’s been no discussions and no meeting. Nothing.”
Terry’s contract expires at the end of the season and he has been linked with a summer move to China.
