Transfer gossip: Fulham linked with Huddersfield striker

Fulham have been linked with striker Nahki Wells after he reportedly rejected a new contract.

The Telegraph say Wells has turned down an improved deal and that Huddersfield face the prospect of losing him in January.

Fulham and Norwich City are likely to pursue the 26-year-old when the transfer window reopens in the new year, the Telegraph say.

Huddersfield will apparently demand £8m for Wells, who was linked with a number of Championship clubs prior to joining the Terriers from Bradford in January 2014.

QPR were among them but did not make an approach for Wells, who has scored three goals this season.
