QPR set to sign Finney on short-term deal
QPR are set to sign Alex Finney on a contract until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old former Bolton defender has been on trial with the R’s, featuring in recent Under-23 matches.
He has been without a club since his Bolton contract was terminated by mutual consent in August.
Finney joined Bolton from Leyton Orient in 2014 and made three first-team appearances for them, two of them coming in the league.
He is set to become QPR’s first signing since Ian Holloway’s return for a second spell as manager.
