Fulham youngster scores hat-trick as Under-23s thrash Middlesbrough
Stephen Humphrys scored a hat-trick as Fulham’s Under-23s beat Middlesbrough 4-1 on Friday.
Peter Grant’s side had fallen behind after eight minutes when Tayo Edun conceded a penalty, converted by Callum Cooke.
Fulham keeper Marek Rodak kept out Carlos de Pena before two goals in six minutes towards the end of the first half saw the visitors ahead at the break.
Humphrys got his first when he finished from Edun’s left-wing cross and Sean Kavanagh then netted with a left-footed shot from 25 yards.
The game was in the balance until the final 15 minutes, when Fulham scored twice more and Humphrys completed his treble.
