QPR fans react on Twitter after club speak to Holloway
QPR fans on Twitter have been reacting to news that the club have spoken to Ian Holloway about the vacant manager’s job at Loftus Road.
Holloway led QPR to promotion from the third tier during a five-year spell in charge and remains a popular figure among many fans, with some urging co-chairman Tony Fernandes to bring him back.
@WestLondonSport @tonyfernandes Re-appoint this man,use his ability to galvanize the fans&players together & you will make QPR fans happy

Great to hear Ian Holloway is linked with the @QPRFC managers job Would love to see a passionate QPR man at the helm again! @tonyfernandes

Ian Holloway with Marc Bircham as assistant would be class

But others are less convinced that re-appointing Holloway – who has not been in management since leaving Millwall in March 2015 – would be a good move.
@WestLondonSport Back to The Future was set in 2015, I can't see how IH is a realistic candidate, then again I didn't forsee LF as a DOF

@WestLondonSport No that would be ridiculous

I love Ollie, but this would be a bloody disaster #QPR https://t.co/5r29MX5uXD

My memory isn't perfect and correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't we get rid of Holloway because he was inflexible and had no plan b?

Why do ppl want Ollie as manager? Coz he knows and loves qpr? Doesn't mean he's a good manager. Only clement out there for me!!

We seem to be making mistake after mistake regarding managers. We had a very good manager in mr.Warnock,l feel if we had stood by him in the first place we would still be in the premier league.
Now he has gone to Cardiff ,I think Ollie would be the next best choice but he needs to be given the time to sort the team out and hopefully bring us success. But the main thing is to get a manager in
who believes in the club and stand by him and stop thinking this will happen over night as the players must be dizzy with the constant changes ,all great clubs have stability.we are becoming a joke
like Leeds.

Why not give Ian Holloway the benefit of the doubt,he’s QPR through and through.
QPR runs through his veins.
Or if not what about Dave Clements son Paul Clement,he did well for Derby

not sure we should be looking back, we should be thinking about a great future for our club, would ollie be good enough? recent events would suggest not.
