Abraham could miss QPR game
QPR might not have to face Bristol City’s top scorer Tammy Abraham on Tuesday.
The on-loan Chelsea striker, who has netted 13 goals in 17 games for club and country this season, is a doubt for the Robins’ trip to Loftus Road following a bout of illness last week.
Abraham did start their 2-1 defeat at Cardiff on Friday but was withdrawn after 77 minutes, with City boss Lee Johnson admitting afterwards the England Under-21 man had not trained in the build-up to the game.
If Abraham is not risked, veteran striker Aaron Wilbraham – who turns 37 later this week – is the likely replacement, with summer signing Gustav Engvall not match fit after injury.
QPR will be without centre-back Grant Hall, who went off with a thigh injury during the first half of Saturday’s draw with Reading.
Rangers are defending a 14-match unbeaten home record against Bristol City, dating back to a 1-0 defeat in April 1977.
