Fulham youngsters beaten by Norwich

Fulham’s Under-23s were beaten 1-0 by Norwich City in the PL2 on Monday night.

The only goal of the game came six minutes into the second half when former Dulwich Hamlet man Diallang Jaiyesimi’s shot beat Marek Rodak in the Whites goal.

Early on, Fulham’s Elijah Adebayo had a goal cancelled out after right-back Marlon Fossey was flagged offside prior to crossing the ball in.

Tayo Edun, who made his first-team debut for the Whites in the League Cup match against Leyton Orient last month, had a shot saved, while Rodak made a superb block to deny Carlton Morris.

Fulham put pressure on in the last 10 minutes, with Mattias Kait heading against the bar from a corner and Luca De La Torre being denied by Norwich keeper Ben Killip.
