Aston Villa v Brentford line-ups: Bees make one change, Villa man ruled out
Brentford make one change for their visit to Aston Villa, with Andreas Bjelland replacing the injured Callum Elder at left-back.
Scott Hogan remains up front following his two goals at Brighton on Saturday, meaning Lasse Vibe – available again after suspension – has to make do with a place on the bench.
Yoann Barbet and Alan McCormack also return to the squad, among the substitutes.
Aston Villa make two changes, with Mile Jedinak and Rudy Gestede coming in for Gary Gardner and Jack Grealish, who is carrying a knock.
Jonathan Kodjia moves out to Grealish’s position wide on the left, allowing Gestede to play up front.
