Fans on Twitter react to reports Blues could sign Sissoko
Many Chelsea fans on Twitter savoured reports the Blues could hijack Tottenham’s attempt to sign Newcastle midfielder Moussa Sissoko.
Reports emanating from France claimed that the Blues were willing to offer more money than Spurs for Sissoko.
Some Chelsea supporters have likened it to their signing of Willian in 2013, just seven days after the Brazilian had a medical at Tottenham.
Sissoko to #CFC scenes if we nicked another one from Spurs!! #WillianAllOverAgain #DeadlineDay

From Willian to Batshuayi and now Sissoko? Tot’ham won’t surely forgive us #CFC #DeadlineDay

Okay Luiz is possibly happening 👀 would be even better if we rob Sissoko from under Spurs’ nose !! #CFC

Are we gonna let Spurs do the medical before signing Sissoko #CFC

We are about to do another one on Spurs. If Sissoko performs like he did in Euros then bring him Conte. #CFC #TransferDeadlineDay

Chelsea gazumping Spurs for Sissoko would make for a funny story, but it’s probably not true #CFC #SillySea… https://t.co/K0pMAlXozg

I honestly don’t want Sissoko to sign for Chelsea, but I’ll never pass up an opportunity to russle Spurs/Spurs fans on #DeadlineDay.

Some Tottenham fans, meanwhile, chose to turn their ire on club owner Daniel Levy…
Can you imagine the meltdown on here if CFC get Sissoko. Levy will be utterly despised by all Spurs fans. #unforgivable

Wouldn’t it be nice if for one window Daniel Levy didn’t let Chelsea ruin our plans #thfc #Sissoko

If we end up embarrasing ourselves again and Chelsea mug us off over Sissoko there is only Levy to blame, get the deal done quick, no excuse

Hilarious how my fellow Tottenham fans are so easily wound up by the gutter media. ..they put out BS articles to create a negative reaction then post another article to highlight the idiots who believe it…

Behave!
Levy had done us a favour. Sissokho is the most overrated inconsistent average muppet going. We don’t need him even for cover, would much prefer a youth player to get a chance instead.
27 years old and £30M for a player who will have 2 good games a season? Nah mate, we’re dodging a bullet…

Big Stu,
You really need to get a grip mate, how can you say Levy is a disgrace after all he has done for our club.
He buys well, sells well and we already have a wonderful squad that almost won the league so just try and be reasonable, and anyway ways, who wants a 27 year old player that only performs when he fancies it.
Let the scum Chelsea have him, remember what’s happened to Willian and all the others they ‘took’ off us, where are they now mate?
In Lsvy we trust, in Poch we trust, COYS !!

For 30M, Chelsea can have him! Sissoko is worth maybe half that, and I think most competent Spurs fans wouldn’t be pleased with Levy shelling that kind of cash for a 27 year old player who would be a rotation player once the real Moose gets back. Forget his Euro tourney, the guy was never very consistent for Newcastle & Spurs have learned their lesson about expecting players to live up to one tournament of brilliance…looking at you there, Paulinho.

How can Chelsea steal a player we’re not willing to meet a valuation on!!! Only mugs and Chelsea mugs see this as a story.

Its time for Levy to resign.
The man is a disgrace to the club.
No players to add to a poor squad of hopers.
We deserve all we get!!!
